STIs Among Adolescents

Sexual transmitted infections(STIs) are infection you can get by having sex with someone who had an infection, this infection is usually passed from person to person through Virgina intercourse.
Sexual transmitted infections(STIs) are major health disproportionately affecting young people given that STI notifications rate peak at 15-24year of age in 2012 (Nyasulu et al, 12 Jan 2020).
CONCLUSION
This review show that many adolescents and young people in their early 20s are at the risk of contracting STIs. The world health organization estimate that two-third of all STI world occurs in this age group.(WHO, 1995a).
RECOMMENDATIONS
The Institute for clinical system improvement state that counseling on sexual behavior to prevent STIs also arrange sexual health training to the practitioner to give sexual advice about STI prevention and information on testing to adolescents and for adults who are at increased risk for STIs.
