My choice

(The mystery behind my decision today)

Writing by Samuel Fadodun

I'd like to use this medium to appreciate all my partners and friends across the world who have been contributing to the publications of MOREYOU both during the in-process and after process, even to the point of delivery. Thank you so much for dedicating yourself to the progress of this vision, it is my believe that we can do more together in motivating relevant youths of our generation.

Last week I was privileged to take the ss1 students Biology,in which I gave them the brushes of biology. After the class,I decided to find out what they'll like to study in their Higher Institution. I was surprised to find out none of them chose any of the courses I listed under Biology because as at now, they are still undecided of the path to take.
Hmm,choosing a profession is very difficult,it is not a question of bread and butter. It's a decision you take your time to make,so one should not be in a hurry. We should seek Godly counsel,we should consider if we can do it well and if we are physically fit for it.

Life without a purpose,is like a vehicle without a driver, like a phone without a Sim card,it will only be useful for playing games. Those who aim at nothing, achieve nothing. Choosing a profession, depends on one's ability, capability, strength, nature and most importantly your passion. Passion is what drives you to put in your best in your given field regardless of how hard it gets, you don't give up.
So my aims are different from  yours. Do what suits you best, without fear or favor.

The choice of one's profession is a crucial decision because our choices either make or break us,it also decides how our future will be. No profession should be considered as exalted or despicable in relation to the others, because professions can never be true indicators of a person's dignity or character.

The funny thing about life is,we have to choose at every time of our life. Life is like a road. There are long and short roads, smooth and Ricky roads, crooked and straight paths. As we journey through life,we would pass through so many of these roads. There are roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand,or poverty and penury on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads toward victory and jubilation and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Since we are in the best position to make decisions ourselves,we should also be ready to face the consequences of our decisions;good or bad. It may take you to a place of promise or to a land of problems. But the most important thing is that you have chosen to live your life instead of remaining a passive audience to your own life. Whether you have made the right decisions or not, only time will tell. But do not wallow in regrets no matter the outcome, instead learn from it and remember that you will always have the opportunity to make better decisions in the future.

Finally, our decision today will either make or mar us,the choice is solely ours to make. Let us choose wisely!
